GET TO KNOW US
Are you concerned that your child isn’t keeping up in class? Have you been assured that they will catch up when they’re ready? Does homework control your evening and end in tears? If your child is struggling with reading and spelling there is a reason why. The “wait and see” approach will only erode your child’s self confidence and put them further behind their peers. At WildGrowth Learning LLC, we provide a comprehensive screening that looks at why your child is struggling and provides concrete recommendations to correct the problem.
As a special education teacher for 15 years, I learned quickly that most of the students I was working with had reading challenges, I pursued a master’s degree in reading to be able to help these students, but the strategies I learned were just more band aids without addressing the underlying causes. And then I learned about Orton-Gillingham based interventions. These strategies are the key to the mystery of why these bright students couldn’t read at an expected level. As a certified Dyslexia Therapist through Wilson Language and the International Dyslexia Association, I’ve been working with these programs for over eight years now and am amazed by the results every time.
All WildGrowth families will receive:

WHAT WE DO
Orton Gillingham interventions are recognized by the International Dyslexia Association as multisensory methods that are effective in addressing the learning needs of dyslexic children and adults. Many of our clients do not have a formal dyslexia diagnosis but may have an IEP for specific learning disabilities, a 504 for an auditory processing weakness, or their child may be struggling in school and parents are looking for answers.
